I am exceedingly joyful to share with you information about myself and Busia Trust. I joined the School way back in 2006. At that time the School was struggling to emerge as an average school in Busia District. In 2008 I led a team of the technical staff under the able guidance of the Board of Governors to develop a five year Busia Trust strategic Development Plan. Since then, we have been able to walk the talk in our plan.
We are steadily moving towards our School vision of being among the leading providers of secondary education in Eastern Uganda. We became both the leading O level and A level provider of educational services as per National Examination in Busia district. Currently we are among the best schools in Bukedi Sub region. In the last five years, we have been able to send students to Public universities under state sponsorship. Our students have been able to consistently be admitted for professional courses such as Human medicine and Engineering in public institutions under government sponsorship.
The people who have played a pivotal role in our noble journey have been our dedicated teachers and supportive parents. Thank you for without your contribution, we would have not been able to achieve this. I am equally appreciative to our students who rightly believe that we can be the best among the best in the country.
We are right now in the midst of developing a ten year School improvement Development plan. I believe in the next ten Years, we shall be a first class school able to compete with the best among the best. I really welcome you to be part of our struggle for greater heights. Please feel free to join as a student, parent, teacher, donor, well-wisher or any other stake holder in our noble struggle. In these ten years, we shall have established new classrooms, dormitories Laboratories and a modern office block to match our desired status.
We shall also establish a state of art ICT lab to enable us become a Centre of academic excellence.
